There are classy stars, and then there are the Media Whores. Kylie Minogue crosses the line in to whoredom posing as a not so lovely looking Geisha girl with a bad makeup job, or a middle age opera star in drag. At first we thought it was Marc Jacobs playing a trick on us. Oh Kylie, can’t you choose the classy path for once? Does everything have to be a grab for attention?

Who looked ugly last night? Of course, Kelly Osbourne did. While other celebs got relaxed at the Coachella Music festival in California, Kelly tried to do a statement and wrapped around a banner with “Speak up” signatures. We don’t know whom she is going to speak up with, but we are sure, it’s not the best fashion statement.

As NY Daily News reports, Anna Wintour thinks you’d better go large with the “superhero” theme at next Monday’s Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala, if you want to see yourself in Vogue.

“People tend to play it safe, but Anna likes anyone who makes an effort. Bolder looks really make the party, and they make it into the magazine,” says an insider.

Kate Moss, Tilda Swinton, Jennifer Lopez, Katie Holmes, Kate Bosworth, Tom Cruise, Mariah Carey, Renée Zellweger, Scarlett Johansson, Claire Danes, Eva Mendes, Rachel Bilson, Fergie and Mischa Barton - are all expected to attend the Costume Institute Gala next Monday. John Galliano seems to be tired of models as he did choose as his newest muse Hello Kitty. Is it just a joke, or just Galliano-specific humor?

Japanese Vogue has the story featuring Hello Kitty in Paris, where it went shopping, developed many famous friendships, and modeled every single look from the latest Dior collection. We still believe it was kind of a trick.

Marc Jacobs visited Moscow last week for the official opening of his store. Jacobs was invited by Aysel Trudel, who opened several of Jacobs’ boutiques in Moscow. Naomi Campbell and Eugenia Volodina accompanied Jacobs on his first visit to Russia in 2005, where he tried vodka for the first time.

And this time, someone poured coffee on Jacobs at the hotel he stopped at. Then at the cocktail reception in the boutique, he suffered from the huge number of people around him. And he seemed happy, only when he saw Daria Zhukova, who came to welcome the designer. After such serious stress for the introvert-Jacobs, Aysel Trudel and Jacobs had dinner at the popular restaurant Pushkin. Not surprisingly, they were late for their own party. However, they didn’t miss anything, a crowd of Moscow fashionistas were waiting for them.

Who looked ugly last night: Paris Hilton

Ohhh, how we loved it, when Paris styled up in amazing Diane von Furstenberg dresses. But last night we were absolutely dissapointed to see Paris in an ugly printed maxi skirt, shapeless yellow sweater, and red Tory Burch flats. The only thing we liked was her bag, but it didn’t work with the whole outfit.

We went gaga, when we saw a sketch of a Christian Louboutin invitation for his personal appearances that will be put on Barney’s window today. Louboutin will be on the fourth floor of the Madison Avenue flagship, May 1, and in the Beverly Hills store on May 7. Barneys New York creative director Simon Doonan told WWD today:

“Christian’s shoes are like the circus coming into town. Louboutins are a total drug and there is no methadone.”

Ohh, how we understand it. We are so in love with Christian Louboutin’s stilettos too.
