Mario Testino, “who took the last memorable official photographs of Diana, Princess of Wales, revealed that he always wanted to take pictures of Baroness Thatcher.
“‘Politicians are usually just around for like two terms and then they’ve gone. Margaret Thatcher was amazing. When I came to England [in 1976], the country was so poor and she really gave an uplift,’ the Telegraph quoted him, as saying.”
