Becki Newton’s look was so confusing at the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 premiere yesterday. A black dress, a grey vest, skinny jeans, and a violet clutch simply don’t work well with each other. Her personal stylist should be fired and please don’t let Blackwell see her like this. Ugly Betty territory indeed.

Lauren Hutton, who is 64, will be featured as one of the faces of Mango’s fall campaign, reports WWD.

The veteran model was shot by Antoni Bernard  in  a pinstripe shirt, a chunky knit minidress, and silk skirts for the campaign, called “We love you, Lauren.”

How strange. We thought that Mango clothes are for young women.

France’s First Lady Carla Bruni has landed the cover of Vanity Fair. Behind the line ‘Carla Bruni: The New Jackie O?‘ showcases her in grand style, reclining on a sofa, very haute and epicurean in riding breaches and boots.

Carla Bruni also posed with her husband lying on a bed and standing on the roof of the Élysée Palace wearing a red gown.

Though the cover and the photoshoot seems a little boring to us, we can’t stay indifferent to this Lady. Actually, we love her.

Ebel has moved forward from the edgy black and white shots of their last campaign  to a sensual and feminine ad for the fall with Gisele Bundchen starring in it. Craig McDean shot the model, who was wearing nothing literally and a new Beluga watch.

We don’t know if a naked Gisele helps to sell watches, but we have seen far more better nude looks of the supermodel.

According to WWD, each issue, which costs $250, will include three polo shirts from the collection (in small, medium and large). The polo shirts will be available at select Lacoste stores around the world, bookstores, and museum shops.

We have never witnessed such ugly footwear on a celeb’s leg. These gladiator fit flops that Julianne Moore wore for a walk in SoHo must die! If there is a fashion hell, everyone there are wearing these. Please, never copy this style.

Beyond clothes, I see a deeper content in fashion, like an escapism, a way to escape reality, banality and of course death. Under clothes there is flesh and nudity, a soul and a skeleton, everyone is concerned by facing death or dealing with age by searching beauty, sensuality, pleasure.
