A solid gold statue of Kate Moss entitled Siren, will be on display in a new exhibition at the British Museum, Marie Claire reports.
The sculpture by artist Marc Quinn is worth £1.5 million, and the 50kg piece is said to be the largest gold statue created since the era of Ancient Egypt.
‘I thought the next thing to do would be to make a sculpture of the person who’s the ideal beauty of the moment,’ Quinn told The Telegraph.
The exhibition will run from October 4 until January 25, 2009.
