The Coco Chanel film for television starring Shirley McLaine has been slammed by critics, reports Female First. The highly anticipated biopic has been cruelly described as lacking in structure, full of factual inaccuracies, and having ‘wooden’ acting.

“The first part quickly jumps to Chanel and her lovers (played by Oliver Sitruk and Sagamore Stevenin), who are all as wooden as a dressmaker’s dummies”, writes New York Times TV critic Linda Stasi.
She also says that the film is boring and is generally laughably crappy:
They should have called it “freely uninspired” since, after three looong hours of dull, awful, embarrassing dialogue and bad acting, you’ll feel that you may never get inspired by anything again.
