Marc Jacobs has named Russian fake lesbian duo t.A.T.u. as the faces of his autumn/winter line, reports Marie Claire.

We don’t know what the campaign will look like, but we are expecting something extraordinary. Usually Jacobs’ ads are always surprisingly bizarre and provoking.

We absolutely love adverts that make us smile. We went ga-ga, when we saw the latest Harvey Nichols campaign, which features Wallace & Gromit sporting Paul Smith suits, D&G shirts, a Duchamp scarf, and ray-bans. Another favorite, Lady Campanula Tottington also appears in the ads, wearing a black draped dress by Alexander McQueen, red patent shoes by Christian Louboutin, and a Zagliani metallic bronze ‘Puffy’ bag.

The ad campaign is being used to promote the new Harvey Nichols store in Bristol, which just opened. Bristol is the where Nick Park created Wallace & Gromit.

Burlesque queen Dita Von Teese is launching her retro inspired underwear line in collaboration with Wonderbra. Von Teese said the Wonderbra range was inspired by the glamour of the 1940s and 50s.

“I am very proud of the lingerie that I’ve created for Wonderbra, because it has all the beautiful detail of sexy, sensual and glamorous lingerie, but the fit is perfect to wear under your everyday clothes. I love it when you can go about your daily business with the knowledge that you have a little secret of your own on underneath. Lingerie shouldn’t be something you just put on for your lover; you should do it for you. It’s not about seducing men, it’s about embracing womanhood,” Dita said about her collection.

The limited edition lingerie collection goes on sale on September 23.

The new Wrangler jeans ad campaign shows how far adverts can go to capture people’s attention. Their provocative ads feature dead bodies with a tagline, “We are animals”. Models are strewn across the muddy ground or floating in a bog, so as to look like foxy murdered corpses.

The campaign which will only launch in France, also includes a live spot, featuring the jeans models engaging in some animalistic pre-death.

Does that make you want to buy Wrangler jeans?

This Etro ad campaign featuring Edita Vilkeviciute and Martin Cannavo is one of our favourites for Fall 2008. We love everything about it: the astonishing colors, the mood, and the harmony of light and shades. And of course Etro clothing. It’s great as usual.

Julia Roitfeld, the stylish daughter of French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld, is trying out as a model in the fall ad campaigns.

She stars in the GAP campaign along with Liv Tyler, Clemence Posey, Georgina Chapman of Marchesa, Chanel Iman, and Lily Donaldson in a series of black-and-white photos.

But our credits go out to the Rock & Republic ad campaign, where Julia Restoin-Roitfeld was photographed by Mark Segal. Very stylish, very chic.

We knew that Sasha Pivovarova was a favorite model for the Fall/Winter 2008-9 ad campaigns, but we didn’t expect that she would look so gorgeous in the Tiffany & Co campaign. Sasha is both pretty and beautiful!

Though we are not a big fans of Juergen Teller’s quirky vision of fashion, we must admit that he is one of the popular photographers for the Fall/Winter 2008-9 ad campaigns. We have already seen Marc by Marc Jacobs and Vivienne Westwood ads shot by Teller, now Pucci’s campaign has been released on the web.

It’s a typical Teller campaign, and the clothes are very Pucci. Nothing new.

Lauren Hutton, who is 64, will be featured as one of the faces of Mango’s fall campaign, reports WWD.

The veteran model was shot by Antoni Bernard in a pinstripe shirt, a chunky knit minidress, and silk skirts for the campaign, called “We love you, Lauren.”
How strange. We thought that Mango clothes are for young women.
