Madonna may be facing problems, but Spring 2009 seems to be much brighter for her, as the 50 year old singer will star in Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer ’09 ad campaign.
The rumor has it that Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott will be shooting the ads.
This is just in: Following the foot steps of her hubby David Beckham, Victoria Beckham will strip for Armani’s underwear ad campaign.
In a press release, the fashion house confirmed, ‘Victoria is a style icon, a dynamic lady whose influence and recognition will add great excitement to the continued international growth of our Emporio Armani women’s underwear business.’
Set to star in the spring/summer ‘09 worldwide advertising campaign, Posh has been photographed by celebrated fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
She said, ‘It’s a huge compliment being asked to be in the campaign and to be part of the worldwide campaign for Emporio Armani underwear. It’s really exciting to me. Mr Armani is a lovely person and his team is fantastic, so it’s a really exciting project for me to be involved with. And hopefully they will see a huge response.’

This time, Tom Ford’s ad is not as provocative as his past efforts. The black-and-white ad, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, features singer Erykah Badu, who probably reached nirvana after smelling the White Patchouli Fragrance.
“I wanted to continue with that stylized, glossy image [which the designer started with his Black Orchid fragrance ads in 2006],” said Ford. “And not too many people are doing black-and-white ads right now, which was also a consideration.”

After starring in Donna Karan’s S/S ’08 ads, Kate Moss is featured once again in their fall-winter ad campaign. Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the mood of the ads evokes the glamour of the Orient Express.
“There’s a romantic classicism, a little darkness, an Eastern European kind of decadence. She was on a train…on the go, but feels intimate and sexy at the same time. It’s about the woman on the go. We wanted the shots to be more about the woman and how the bag is working with her,” Donna Karan told WWD.
